The power of making a 12-week plan

This month I have been revisiting one of my favorite business books, "The 12-week Year" by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington.  Have you read it?

My approach to being an entrepreneur and in working with my clients aligns with many strategies in this book.....including:

  • Having both a personal and business vision and understanding how they are connected

  • Planning and taking action in 12-week increments (get out of annualized thinking)

  • Being mindful of your work and having clear intention

  • Knowing that one of the most powerful things you can do to get the results you want is to create a written plan

  • Getting a handle on time management using time blocking and other techniques (because having control of your time allows you to have control over your results!)

Have you used any of these strategies? Have they worked?

As we approach the last quarter of the year, I am thinking a lot about the goals I want reach and what I need to do to get there. What about you? Do you know where you want to go and how you will get there? I would love to help you focus and be accountable to making it happen.
